How it all started

Back in 1994 I took a training course on tinting. I soon found myself tinting the windows of cars for a few of my friends. Two years later in 1996 I left my job and founded Tints Window Tinting.

Starting as a one man band in a 500 square foot workshop, the business quickly grew and today a team of fully trained fitters are on hand to ensure that your car is always tinted perfectly.

Tints Window

With over 15 years of experience Tints are one of the longest established vehicle window tinting companies in the UK and the longest established vehicle window tinting company in the North East. If that does not show just how good our tinting has been then what does?

Tints are now trusted by garages all over the North East, tinting regularly for garages such as SG Petch, Bristol Street Motors, Evans Halshaw, Stratstone, Wearside Audi, Mill BMW, Pulmans VW, Jennings Ford, Mazda and Nissan, the list goes on.

Where we work from

We work from a 3000 square foot industrial unit, fully kitted out for any problems that we may come across when tinting windows. We have everything from tool trollies to a purpose built tint room, where all removable glass is tinted in our dust-free environment to ensure the best results are always achieved when tinting.

Commercial contracts

We also carry out commercial contracts on buildings for organisations such as Sunderland and Durham council, Northumbria Police, Safe as Houses, GenToo, schools, colleges, universities and numerous building and construction companies amongst many others.

Site visits

We don't do mobile tinting. It's hard enough to keep glass clean when tinting in our unit, never mind at the side of the road. The only time we will do mobile tinting is to tint houses, conservatories and commercial buildings etc.

We have even applied our window films to boats, ships, aeroplanes etc. in fact any glass perspex or plastic surface you need.
